Meet the Team
Detective Superintendent Paul Lopez has almost 28 years policing experience with Essex Police and ERSOU. Over the past 5 years Paul has worked across number of diverse disciplines including Serious and Organised Crime, Intelligence and most recently Cyber Crime.
Paul has recently been appointed as Director of the Eastern Cyber Resilience Centre and is keen to use his experience to support businesses within the Region tackle the growing threat of cyber-crime and improve their levels of cyber security.
Head of Cyber Security and Innovation
Detective Inspector Fiona Bail, brings over 15 years of Policing experience to the Cyber Resilience Centre. From working in Serious and Complex Fraud and Cyber Investigations within Cambridgeshire Constabulary, she has first-hand experience of supporting business victims of Cybercrime.
Fiona’s experience has seen her work across a diverse range of police roles, including Local Policing, Criminal Investigations, Public Protection and Fraud and Cyber.
Business Development Manager
Mel Lennon previously worked for the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU) in an administrative position and is currently seconded to the Centre via Bedfordshire Police.
The majority of Mel's experience has either been of an IT/Networking nature, which included working in both UBS and Lloyds of London, whilst more recently within an educational setting. Mel has developed good working relationships with both secondary and primary schools within the Harpenden area.
Mel is looking forward to developing her skills further, helping to promote cyber resilience to local business within our region from the ever increasing threat of cyber attacks.
