About the Event
On Friday 29th September 2023, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Police and Crime Commissioner Darryl Preston will be hosting a free webinar for small and medium-sized enterprises to help them protect their data assets and productivity against the ever-present threat posed by cyber criminals.
The free webinar will run from 12.30pm to 1.30pm on Friday 29 September and business owners are being urged to register at the earliest opportunity.
Guest speaker Inspector Jim Stevenson, from the Eastern Region Cyber Resilience Centre, will discuss the implications of a cyberattack for businesses and the simple tools available to reduce vulnerability. The organisation is part of a national network of centres established by the Home Office to help businesses, charities and public sector organisations tackle the rising threat of cyberattack.
Also guest speaking will be Detective Inspector Tom Rowe, from Cambridgeshire Constabulary, who will update attendees on the local picture in relation to cybercrime and the means by which they can boost resilience.
